The AGORA Programme for labour inclusion promotes training for the employment of people with a visual impairment and their inclusion in the labour market.

AGORA is an initiative created by FOAL and delivered in partnership with public and private bodies in each country and civil society organisations from the field of visual impairment. The programme has already secured employment for many people with a visual impairment. 

AGORA is implemented through advisory units that offer:

• Career guidance
• Access to training courses and workshops for employment
• Placement services
• Internships and traineeships
• Support in adapting workplaces
• Support for entrepreneurship, from project design to funding procurement and monitoring the business in the initial stage
